it all started in Oregon, where I been beautifying old discarded furniture since 2007!
i moved to NorCal in 2020 for the Sunny Warm Weather and Amazing Terrain - now I will NEVER LEAVE! (and yes, I do miss some of the goregeous greeneries of Oregon!)
renovating furniture, creating a New-To-Use Art Piece is a passion! i love creating, getting my hands 'dirty' and knowing that the pieces i work on will be appreciated for years too come! every piece is unique in its finish due to - wood types, paint mixing, final finishes and hardware that compliments them. i prepped each piece meticulously as that is the foundation of a lasting amazing final product! then from there, if it is a piece i am selling, then i let the piece 'tell me' what to finish as; if its a piece custom finishing for a client, i will take pics through out the process to be sure it is going as they expect it! usually i will post 'before and after' pics for the items i am selling - just so you can see the transformation!
Pieces vary from Antique to New ~ all individually different ~ where pieces may be the same color, they may be slightly different as each piece has its own unique differences within the wood! Some items are dKpDesigns original creations as well...something different all the time!
